Background Screening

All coaches are required to complete a background screening. The process is:

• Go to https://www.usahockey.com/backgroundscreen
• Select the Click Here to Begin box and follow the prompts
• A note from USA Hockey: PLEASE READ: USA Hockey has already entered your self-registration ID number on the first page of the screen. You do not need to change this number.

In compliance with requirements from the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC), USA Hockey has implemented a national level background screening policy, which can be found in full below. NCSI began the National Screening Program for USA Hockey in April 2020. While you may have a screening from before that, it was likely not with NCSI, please be sure to click that this is your first time screening with NCSI if your last screening was before then.
